My entry for this week's SotW contest from :iconsonic-fancharacter:!
This is Gallu the Lemur. She's one of my most nomadic characters, though prefers to hang around non-urban places. Her most prominent trait is the ability to disintegrate and subsequently achieve blinding speeds, but is unable to interact with most materials in this state. Because of her "drape" clothing, this leaves a golden trail. She is nothing in the way of offense, defense or foot speed, but her evasion is way past dangerous and infuriating, not only because of her dash, but her overall acrobatic skills. Her tail can be used very flexibly, and her shoes are made of a very thin but tough material so that she can grip things with her feet as if she were barefoot.
(Also, I think it's difficult to tell from this angle, but her "hair" crosses over. See how the bottom chunk ends up on the top at the back of her head.)

I don't have much in terms of story yet for her, but she was fun to create! The main thing I wanted for her was to be based off an enemy from La-Mulana, with the power I've mentioned above. (The difference is that the lion's dash in the game was used offensively) After some research, I found the enemy's name was Ugallu [link] and after a quick Google, learned the name was based off a creature from Mesopotamian mythology. I decided to shorten the name to "Gallu", but then found out that was yet ANOTHER creature from…yep, Mesopotamian mythology. Wikipedia DID say it was also a word for "an adversary that is dangerous and implacable" though. Gallu here isn't offensively dangerous, but she is definitely unstoppable, so we'll leave it at that 8P
Now that I think of it, her colour palette is pretty close to Dody's…but, I really wanted to give her a yellow drape/dress thing, and the red hues looked so good on her :XD: I just can't help it, I love red colour schemes. But hey, 5 colours, that's pretty crazaaaay! While Dody has like…10, so pssfftfff.
What is it with me and stumbling on Mesopotamian mythology? Kishal's name is suspiciously close to Kishar, who is…an Earth mother goddess…or something. Both of the times were accidental Q_Q
