Meet Erith the Echidna, a military Cyborg Echidna soldier, code-named "Burnout". I adopted her from https://x.com/SamFoxSlayer

She's a quadruple amputee who after an accident had all four of her limbs replaced with military prosphetics that grant her super strength, endurance, heightened speed and can heat up to melt metal. A good and heroic soldier type who masks her trauma and physical pain under a smile and snarky quips, and someone who puts others before her own well being.

Artist is well known for their "Busty" OC designs, so she probably won't always have this size if I commission another artist for a more "Official" art style, but it's fun for possible NSFW shenanigans.

Erith the Echidna — “Burnout”

Backstory
Erith was born from a rare Echidna family line that was unrelated to the ancient Knuckles Clan or Nocturnus Clan. This family line was small enough to be ignored by history thus why most considered the Echidna race all but extinct.
Erith’s family have a proud Military career starting from her Great Great Great Grandfather with every member joining some branch that bets fit their skills. Both of her parents were also in the army together and she spent most of her childhood being raised on Military bases. But she enjoyed it and made many friends of other “Army Brats” and was proud of both her parents’ careers and wanted to continue the tradition when she came of age.
After joining Erith quickly became one of the military’s finest soldiers—a fearless combat specialist known for impossible missions, unmatched adaptability, and unwavering determination under pressure.

She fought through years of brutal warfare believing that, eventually, she would survive long enough to return home to her parents. That dream kept her moving even when countless others fell around her.

Then came the battle that changed everything.
The details remain classified or deliberately avoided, but Erith lost all four limbs in a catastrophic conflict. Most believed she would die from the injuries alone, or at best be bedridden the rest of her life. Instead, the military offered her an opportunity to be rebuilt. The Guardian Units of Nations (GUN) were searching for volunteers for their new Super Soldier Experiment, Codenamed BURNOUT. The process would grant her new prosthetic limbs and make her stronger and faster than before and with additional firepower built in.

Erith volunteered and was quickly taken to GUN labs for surgery. After the operation was a success, Erith’s new limbs transformed her into a formidable fighter, faster, stronger, tougher and with powerful heat ability that enhances her attacks to melt through the strongest metals.
But the reconstruction came at a cost. The implants fused into her nervous system so her joints constantly ached and hurt without a prescribed pain medication The Heat systems would exasperate this condition when active, limiting it’s use. Pain became part of her existence. Every movement reminded her of what had been taken away
So she learned to laugh instead. She became charismatic, sarcastic, fearless—the soldier everyone admired because nobody realized how much she was hurting underneath.

Erith became one of GUN’s top agents and granted the rank of Lieutenant and has proved an effective weapon in the fight against Doctor Eggman. Currently she has been assigned command of GUN operations in the Metal City Zone, a place known to be a target of one the Egg Armies. She acts as the liaison between GUN and the local heroes of the zone, a pair of Treasure Hunting teams known as Team Eclipse and Team Victory, and has a close friendship with one of their members.

Character Description / Appearance
Erith is a battle-scarred echidna with a commanding presence, sharp amber eyes, and a body built like a living weapon. Despite the weight she carries emotionally and physically, she moves with confidence and effortless charisma, often masking exhaustion behind a grin or sarcastic joke.
Her body bears the cost of war. Both her arms and legs have been replaced with heavy-duty GUN prosthetics:
• her arms are matte black combat prosthetics reinforced for close-range destruction,
• while her legs are military green, built for speed, impact resistance, and extreme acceleration.
Thin heat vents line the joints of her limbs, glowing orange when she activates her Heat abilities.
She usually wears a tight dark-gray combat top designed to endure heat exposure, along with reinforced tactical gear adapted for her prosthetics.
She has naturally large breasts, a toned stomach with visible abs and a strong back.
