more of my amazing visions 💚💚 these mean little greenbeans are so funny, I keep having ideas for more lil doodles with them haha

for those who missed the last art dump I did of these two, I had the realization a while back that they have a surprising amount of things in common, but like with a butch/femme twist. self-obsessed, anger problems, desperate for attention, think of themselves as fundamentally bad people and resent those they think are better than them … plus the aesthetic overlap of course LOL (they're even both inspired by oni!). and then there's like a neat contrast where they've both been mistreated by pseudo-paternalistic authority figures, but Zeena is still loyal to hers because it benefits her, while Surge broke away from hers and is now struggling to find her own path. I think they should have a messy baby's-first-devastatingly-complicated-lesbian-relationship about it

I imagine they start out dating each other mostly for the street cred/ego boost, but also they don't really have anyone else their own age they genuinely connect with, so they get too invested too quickly. they last a maximum of 3 months before there's a breakup measurable on the richter scale 🥲
