Of course, gotta have parent Shard and Nicole to go with the kids picture I already did. I've been fiddling around with painting styles a lot, so this is still in that vein haha And also chibis were kind of my weakness when I drew this- hence why there have been so many recently xDD
I just love my happy babies. They're great parents and all the time they spend together they just grow to love each other even more :heart:
They end up thinking it's kind of hilarious that they- the robots- end up with the most children out of all their friends and are argueably the most happily married, even though for so long love was a really funky concept to them. While initially, neither really focused on the idea of having children (though they weren't opposed- Shard loves kids and Nicole has fond memories of Sally as a child), after Bunnie and Ant had their twins, and Sally eventually becomes a mom(I lean towards the idea of her adopting a kid rather than marrying and having her own. She's a single, independent lady ;) ) and it suddenly occurs to Nicole that she wanted to be a mom so much. Shard doesn't protest in the slightest, and while the first was a stressful experience- they were constantly worried about Java wandering off or eating things he's not supposed to or accidentally figuring out how to use Mombot's nanites and sending himself through the roof- they figure it out with minimal accidents, so much so that they end up with the other three. Shard mellows out even more over time, super cool dad &tm; but also made sure his kids had the right values and morals, and is still at Nicole's beck and call, always. Nicole is the responsible parent, constantly jokes that she raised 5 kids because Shard is still a big child, loves the dope anyway, and still manages to run New Mobotropolis like the champion that she is.
