Last commission of the batch for :iconashie-kins: of a very protective Shard standing between Nicole and some off-screen threat ;P
I did a lot of thinking on what exactly he could be protecting her from, considering Nicole seems fairly capable of taking care of herself. But then I got thinking about Phage and the Iron Queen and what might have happened if Nicole was being attacked by a very aggressive virus whilst in a more vulnerable state, which I figured was a good excuse. Hence the little pixel chunks missing out of them :)
Fun little note: I had a bit of a hard time with Shard's posing, so I had to sketch this one 3 different times. And as I went, from one sketch to the next, I found it kindof amusing that Shard progressively got angrier XD
