original description

First Off, don't comment if you don't like Sontails. Second, if you do hate Sontails so much, why are you even looking at this picture?

This is just a contest entry for =The-Red-Tail's Sontails contest. I worked on a lot of different styles for this, such as the shading. Tails Turned out PERFECTLY! Sonic….I had to redo his shading twice. My best shading feature, Tails' eye. The hardest posing was Tails, because I hate drawing from that side of view. I tried a new style of drawing a kiss, since my original crap-style wouldn't work for this. I tried it like three times. I had to look at something to draw the hand lock…and the reference was on the right side and I had to use the left side. O.o Tails was actually the hardest to draw…and yet his coloring turned out wonderful!

I normally don't draw stuff like this, but I wanted to do something different.

Now enjoy this random story sequence I thought up of to go with the picture.


Sonic looked over at his best friend, Tails. The look in his eye meant something. He seemed so emotionless. Tails gulped. He knew something was wrong.

"Could he have figured out my secret?," the young fox thought as he looked at Sonic worryingly.

Sonic approached Tails slowly. "Tails," he spoke softly, but aggressively. The fox could notice a wierd look in his eye.

"Sonic, I," Tails whimpered. Tails knew he couldn't hide his secret once longer.

"Tails," Sonic repeated, "I've heard rumors. What's this about you having a crush on me?"

Tails instantly blushed. If it wasn't obvious before, it was now. He lowered his head and saw his shuffling feet. "I'm sorry, Sonic," he mumbled. "It's true."

"You could've told me, Tails."

Tails shot his head up. "How could I have told you?" His voice raised two octaves. "You'd be ashamed of me!" Tails looked away once again.

"I'd never be ashamed of you, Tails." In almost a second, Sonic grabbed Tails' hand, pulled him close, and gave him a strong kiss. Tails' eyes widened, and he blushed even more.

Tails told himself this was all a dream. There would be no way Sonic would kiss him. After all the girls he'd gone out with, there was no way he'd end up wanting to be with him.

Sonic finally pulled away from his suprising kiss. He chuckled, but it wasn't like the chuckle Tails knew. It was a seductive chuckle.

"I must say you have a great taste in guys," Sonic said. Like his chuckle, his voice was very seductive.

Tails didn't understand how he could possibly think this was wrong. His crush just kissed him. For a moment, Tails thought his crush as a schoolgirl crush. The crush where you'd keep your crush a secret only to you and your closest friends. The crush where the guy that was liked would be chased around by almost every female who caught his glance.

Maybe he shouldn't have told anyone. Maybe he shoud've kept it a full secret. Still, Tails didn't know why he was thinking this. He should've been happy, but he just felt like something was out of the ordinary.
