Thought I would finally get around to submitting art I forced myself to finish, since I have been so busy I have not completed anything I started art wise.

This is my concept of Scourge after undergoing a further mutation from chaos energy.

I wanted to protray him as a sort of " Dark King " which is why I changed his flaming jacket into a royal coat of sorts, re-designed his shoes and gave him fingerless gloves. Instead of an official cheap nock-off I wanted him to feel more original, so I also re-designed his quills and drew from his original inspiration from the Ashura Glitch.

Thus the title, Scourge the Ashura (aka demon). He's ruthless, merciless, power hungry and corrupted.

Scourge is a Tyrannical dictator who enslaves everyone to his will. He's everything sonic would be should he ever fall to the dark. Scourge took up his place as a " Dark prince/king " since he murdered his father, Anti-Jules ending the Great harmony .

I found it very hard to take Scourge seriously, he seemed like a punk with a bad attitude instead of an actual threat, but I drew this up as my way of seeing how he should be portrayed.

I'll be god honest here, I think it'd be best if Archie to to go with this direction for Scourge, I just don't see much character development going on since he's just a green bad sonic even though his " transformation " gave him different colors.

I'm just not feeling him, i'd be much happier if they tried this with him at least design and character development wise so he's not some cliche' " cut-and-paste evil twin from another dimension who's the exact same except evil. " y'know.
