Brain was the keeper of the Yellow Chaos Emerald, and the first Mobian with the Yellow Power Pattern, both giving him the power of flight. Brain was also the smartest of the keepers, smart, brave and being a bit crazy. But despite his genius actions, he wasn't smart enough to stop Pachacamac and his army from attacking the Master Emerald, leading to the destruction of Mobius. This event sadly caused his death, but his spirit lives on, through the Yellow Chaos Emerald, the few artifacts of the ancient past, his descendants and her modern title, The Yellow Ancient.
