Happy Belated Mother's Day, Sonic fans! As promised, here's the revamped pic of Bernadette Hedgehog, Sonic's original mom, predating both Longclaw and Maddie Wachowski from the Paramount films, and Queen Aleena from Underground. For fun, we have a version of her in the present day (right), as well as how she looked during the time of the Great War (left). The rest of the Nerd Herd loves her revamp, saying that it's pretty clear where Sonic gets his spunk and attitude from.



No profile this time, as I'm still working on getting some stuff for her approved, and I don't want to have to redo it in the event changes are required.



Real quick though, I want to apologize to another artist friend of mine, Drawloverlala, whose own redesign of Bernie inspired this one. Normally, I make it a point to ask for permission to directly use other artists' characters or redesigns; but in this case, the final product ended up resembling her work a little more closely than anticipated, so I thought it best to include her as special inspiration.
